Rise and Shine Youth Development Centre is a non-profit organisation established to provide activities and opportunities for people regardless of race, religion, age or economic status in rural and urban communities.

Purpose:
To be a regional organisation that excels in providing services and facilitates partnership for the sustainability of communities in South Africa.

Mission statement:
To enhance the lives of young people living in rural and urban communities through sports and activities that are rooted in fun, educational and ethical principles. Through our programming we hope to give our children's the discipline, knowledge and opportunities to be successful in their adult lives.
Objectives:
The organization’s main objectives are to:
- To run an early childhood development centre.
- To run a sports academy.
- To run/establish educational programs (like spelling, debate, poetry, motivation and other activities that are rooted in educational and fun).
- To introduce activities that brings unity among communities.
- To organize the community to participate in planning for development.
- To carry out all lawful activities that promotes development within the community.
- To work in collaboration with other sports and educational centres/organizations to make a better living for the communities and the country at large.
- To provide employment assistance to members of the community without charging them any consultation fee or whatever fee.
- To provide opportunities for further education, skills training and personal development.
- To care for orphans and teach them for their future.
- To provide consultation, guidance and any other assistance to all persons with desire to expand and/or start a business, project or community development activities.
- To provide assistance to matric students in applying for university admission, TVET colleges, bursaries, learnership and other program(s) which will help them to further their studies.
- To provide food and other assistance to communities who are in need.
